About Me: she/her, INFP, Christian, recent migrant from the latest tumblr chaos (trying to make a fresh start so I'm not interested in sharing my tumblr username), gluten-free for health reasons, I have DID, anxiety, and depression, I wasn't involved in fandom during the LJ days so am still finding my way around!

Date: 2018-12-07 08:56 pm (UTC)I was also briefly into Redwall, but never wrote fanfic about it. I only vaguely remember what the series was about, and that my favorite book in it was Mariel of Redwall. (It was my rather cringey MLP fic that babywriter!me showed to my mom- and I'm very glad I never posted any of it online, looking back.)
Let's see... (I must confess that I haven't written on either of them in months, due to mental health stuff and what limited writing energy I do have going into essays for my English class and to working on my Phantom project.) Technically, I should have said 3 projects, since my main one is a trilogy. (I finished the first draft of the first book a year or 2 ago, but am afraid to reread it and get into editing it because my writing has improved drastically since then.) It's about an unlikely group of friends brought together by a homework assignment who must face down the threat of an evil dragon empress. (Also, the friends are dragon riders and that factors a lot into the plot. And some of them hate each other. So they're not exactly good friends, at least not at this point.)
The sequel has been completely outlined, and I wrote a few chapters a while back, but I really need to figure out how the third book is going to end before I can work more on it. (Third book is like 1/3 outlined and the rest is just vague ideas- I'm concerned it'll be a monster in length compared to the other two.)
Second project (I've had the idea for longer, but it's gone through multiple iterations and reboots so I've only written maybe 10-ish chapters on the latest version- which is number 5, according to my current count) started out as thinly veiled MLP fanfic about a conflict between Celestia and Luna, and is now more of a fantasy political drama but with alicorns (that's pegasus + unicorn, in case you weren't aware) and magic and magic-related drama and manipulation and.. I need to figure out a better pitch.
Third project is in the early stages and is basically a love letter to my favorite childhood books- the original Sherlock Holmes stories, the Enola Holmes series by Nancy Springer, the Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart, and Harry Potter. So magical school + mystery + teen girl detective.
